Haworth and Hebden Bridge

(Simon writes) Heading south yesterday from Settle to pop in on our Pennine Way hoteliers, I hit Haworth and then Hebden Bridge.

The Pennine Way runs a couple of km to the West of Hebden Bridge. We have options here... some PWers will enjoy being in the town, while others will favour the option right on the trail. We have excellent options of both types.

It happens that some of our most memorable and welcoming accommodation is tucked away in rural spots away from the towns. Charming owners with individual and independent style make these establishments what they are.

Of course the Pennine Way is a route far from urban. Here is Pinhaw Beacon above Lothersdale, a wide viewpoint yesterday in the August sunshine.
